We are Heritage Hunt - a diverse community of folks 55+ who savor the joys of "the silver years."
Some golf, some don't, but all recognize the intrinsic value of our beautiful PGA 18-hole golf course.
We hike, we bike, we travel - our proximity to three major airports (Dulles = 25 miles) and the train (Manassas = 11 miles) makes this very convenient. We are involved with activities and clubs that range from Chess to Woodworking. We are also very involved with enjoying each other's company and socializing occurs in some venue daily - Happy Hours at our beautiful Clubhouse are often filled to capacity.
We love culture and are fortunate to be 45 minutes from Washington, DC as well as being close to Wolftrap and the Hylton Performing Arts Center.
We work, some at paying jobs, some at volunteering. Our community is made up of people who are used to being busy, active, and serving in some capacity. We are made up of active and retired government employees, military, educators, and other professionals who have come from all over to savor the good life at Heritage Hunt.
We also value taking good care of ourselves and ample use is made of our Fitness Center and indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Good medical care is available via doctor's offices right outside our gates and several excellent area medical centers and hospitals (5 miles). We also have easy access to renowned teaching hospitals such as Georgetown, George Washington, and Johns Hopkins plus the nearby Lake Manassas Cancer Center (4 miles).
